ShowRevue Monitor

Window → ShowRevue Monitor turns any Mac running ShowRevue into a show client. The same experience as the iPhone companion, on a laptop. Joining is free on every tier; only hosting is licensed.

Joining​

  • This Mac. On the Mac hosting the show, the Monitor joins its own session instantly over loopback.
  • Your cloud shows. Sign in as normal and pick from the shows you're a member of (live ones are marked). The app also checks in the background and prompts "Open ShowRevue Monitor" when a show you're in goes live.
  • On this network. ShowRevue Macs found via Bonjour; nominate your name and role (remembered) and enter the Live Notes PIN if set.

The Monitor roams between LAN and cloud automatically, exactly like the phone. The LAN/CLOUD badge and latency readout in the header show the current route.

In the window​

  • Monitor strip. Big LX cue with label and since-cue timer, extrapolated timecode with the show-state counter stacked beneath it, current media cue, the Stage Display's current message, presence, REC badge, latency and a stale-data banner.
  • Notes column. Full Live Notes: the Add Note button mints a time-locked draft the instant it's pressed (the locked LTC and last cue show while you type), per-department quick-note presets, department filter, and per-note comments, editing, complete/reopen. Notes open only while a recording runs; while idle the header badge shows the upcoming session number.
  • Chat column. The full Show Chat: filters, @-autocomplete, acknowledgements, pin, seen-by, make-note.

Compact rail mode​

The toolbar toggle collapses the Monitor into a skinny always-on-top strip (current cue, show state, REC dot, the last chat line and latency) that floats above console software for desks with no screen room. Toggle again for the full window.
