Licence Tiers

The line between tiers is local vs cloud: Capture is the complete kit for one operator working on the Mac; Production adds the team and cloud layer on top.

Free is a demo tier: same core workflow as Capture, but recording is limited to 4 minutes per recording and 5 recordings per day.

Any recording limit is latched when recording starts: the cap in effect at the moment you press record is the one that applies to the whole take. A licence change or re-validation that lands mid-take never stops a rolling recording.

Two more ways to license:

  • Production Pass — a one-time purchase (~6 weeks) with the full Production feature set, for a single production rather than an ongoing subscription.
  • Education — Production at the Capture price, for verified students and institutions (application + approval).

Your licence lives on the Mac, not the user account, so any operator can sign in and the booth keeps its tier offline. Venues or schools needing several seats are licensed on request — contact hello@showrevue.com.

Sign in or enter a licence key in Preferences → Account. Billing is managed at showrevue.com/account.
