Licence Tiers

The line between tiers is local vs cloud: Capture is the complete kit for one operator working on the Mac; Production adds the team and cloud layer on top.

Free is a viewer / follower tier: play back any recording, follow a live ShowRevue show (its cues and timecode over LAN or cloud), see cuepoints and timecode sections, and drop plain "look here" flags. Authoring. Creating or moving cuepoints, naming timecode sections, and feeding external timecode (LTC audio, sACN, Art-Net, MTC) or console cue input. Is Capture. Recording is also limited on Free to 4 minutes per recording and 5 recordings per day.

Recording watermark. Free and Capture recordings carry the ShowRevue mark, top-right at about half opacity. Production and up remove it.

Companion. The iPhone companion, a Live Notes client on your own network, is included with Capture. The Apple Watch companion and reaching your show remotely over the internet need Production.

Any recording limit is latched when recording starts: the cap in effect at the moment you press record is the one that applies to the whole take. A licence change or re-validation that lands mid-take never stops a rolling recording.

Two more ways to license:

Production Pass. A one-time purchase (~6 weeks) with the full Production feature set, for a single production rather than an ongoing subscription.
Education. Production at the Capture price, for verified students and institutions (application + approval).
Company. Production for a whole company or venue at $149/mo, with 3 seats included and more added any time.

Your licence lives on the Mac, not the user account, so any operator can sign in and the booth keeps its tier offline. For questions on seats or larger rollouts, contact hello@showrevue.com.
