Account

Two separate things live here, and it's worth being clear about which is which:

  • Signing in is for cloud features. Live Notes in the cloud, the show team, your identity on notes.
  • Your licence lives on this Mac. Recording works without signing in.

The same panel opens as a standalone Account & Licence window from the Welcome launcher and File ▸ Welcome to ShowRevue, so you can sign in or enter a key before any project is open.

Account​

Signed out, there's a Sign In… button and nothing else you need. Signed in, you get your name and email, Sign Out, and a licence banner: "Licence active. Production", or a warning that no licence is attached to the account (which leaves you in Viewer mode until you buy one or enter a key below).

Direct License​

Paste a License Key and hit Validate. A valid key shows its tier, and a Cached pill when it's running from the cached licence (so a show can start with no internet). A stored key is masked behind dots with a reveal toggle; while you're typing a new key it stays plain.

  • Remove License. Clears the key from this Mac.
  • Deactivate This Mac. Frees the licence seat and drops this Mac to viewer-only. Use it when you're retiring or re-purposing a machine.
  • Manage Billing ↗. showrevue.com/account.

Active Plan​

Your effective tier, and where it comes from:

  • "Licensed to this Mac. Any operator can sign in, and it works offline."
  • "Active via license key."
  • "View recordings and cues only. Activate a license to unlock recording."
